What an alert carries
- Same-day notice when a watched company files a 10-K, 10-Q or 8-K — detected on the next sweep of the SEC index, which runs three times each business day — morning, mid-afternoon, and after the close.
- The recomputed coverage: rating, the payout on the basis that applies, and how far the bases now disagree — refreshed from the new filing before the email is sent.
- Deregistrations flagged loudly. A Form 15 means the company is leaving SEC reporting. Six covered companies have done that while this site has been watching them; holders found out late.
- Every company on this site is covered, and new large payers are added as they qualify.
Worth knowing before you pay: about four fifths of the companies here close their financial year on 31 December, so most annual reports land in February and March. That is when this earns its keep, and why the yearly plan is the one to buy.
