vincii we show the working

Terms of service

What vincii is, what it is not, and what each of us owes the other. Plain words, because you are being asked to trust it with a card number.

Effective 24 August 2026.

What this is

vincii publishes payout ratios computed from company filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Every company page is free to read. The paid subscription is filing alerts: an email when a company you have named files with the SEC, carrying the recomputed coverage figures.

It is not investment advice

Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, hold or sell anything. vincii is not a broker, a dealer, an investment adviser or a fiduciary, and no figure on this site is personalised to you or your circumstances. It states what a company reported and how the arithmetic comes out. Decisions you make with it are yours.

Accuracy, and its limits

The figures are computed from XBRL data the companies themselves file. That data contains errors, companies tag the same concept differently from one another and from year to year, and the method used here involves judgement about which denominator applies. The site is built to show its work so you can check it, and every page links the filing it came from. It is offered as-is, with no warranty that any figure is correct. Check the filing before you act on anything.

Subscriptions and billing

Your account and acceptable use

Access to alerts is tied to the email address you subscribe with; keep it to yourself. You may use the site and your alerts for your own research. You may not resell, redistribute or republish the content in bulk, scrape the site programmatically, or use it to build a competing dataset. Ordinary reading, quoting with attribution, and linking are all fine.

Ending it

You can cancel whenever you like. vincii may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, or stop offering the service entirely — in which case you get a pro-rata refund of whatever you have paid for time not yet served.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, vincii is not liable for investment losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or the alerts. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before it arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as they are permitted.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, subscribers get an email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
